In addition to the latest security patch, the OTA update fixes a bunch of issues related to fingerprint, lock screen, status bar, and notification shade. According to the changelog, it adds new fingerprint options and fixes the crashing issue that was occurring when using face and fingerprint unlocking simultaneously. The update also fixes – the memory usage issue when charging animations were displayed, lock screen notifications appearance issue after the call ends, lock screen items displaying issue themes, and super wallpapers were combined. Xiaomi has optimized dark mode adjustments for notifications and third-party theme compatibility for notification shade.
Displaying issues related to cleaner animations and notifications, when the app lock was used, are getting a fix in the new update. Other fixes include – permission issue after missed calls, player controls displaying issue, buttons displaying issue on the notification when the dark mode was on, and fixes the notifications appearance issue when Raise to wake was used.
